🎓 To (future?) CFA candidates reading this…

Until 2017, I had never known what the CFA program was. It was only having spoken to my mentor did I find out more about this program, and the relevancy of the concepts learnt in the CFA program which were all highly relevant for a portfolio manager did I decide to embark on what would become a ~4 year journey with the CFA program.

So why should you continue reading this article? Lemme give you a few reasons for you to stay!

  • I passed all 3 levels of the CFA exam (all exams on first attempt). Level 1 in Jan 2019, Level 2 in Jan 2021, and Level 3 in Feb 2022.

  • I have genuine industry experience in a hedge fund, making investment decisions on a daily basis, which is what the CFA program was originally designed for.

  • I am passionate about commerce, and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from UNSW back in Dec 2018, and also tutored Accounting 1B at UNSW.

So is that enough to get you to stay? If so, keep reading!

Here are some resources to get started with my thoughts/advice on the CFA program.
